Had “3 Rings Cabernet Sauvignon 2004″ last night, it was the best cabernet I’ve ever tasted. It’s an Australian wine from the “Barossa Valley”. I’ve done extensive google searching on it, and cannot find anything, not even a mention of it. Although their 2004 Shiraz has a lot of attention. Maybe I’ll try and find that, Shiraz and Cab. are very close wines, possible I’ll get the same wonderful experience? Perhaps not, this was a “id buy a case if I could find it” kind of wine.
So I picked up some Campari tonight, as I wanted to try a Negroni. It was a lot more potent than I thought it would be.

The drink was pretty herby and somewhat bitter. It was very interesting, sweet as you take a sip, but after the swallow the bitterness hits. I might make it again if I’m feeling like something potent, however if I’m going to drink Gin, I prefer Gin and Grapefruit juice. I won’t quit on Campari yet, I’ve only tried one cocktail! Will be searching for more Campari recipes.

Tried a new sushi restaurant last night, Uni Sushi.
We actually tried some Sake, it wasn’t like I thought it would be. It was creamy and beer like, but about four times stronger. I liked it and will probably try it again.
Their Tiger roll was better than average, and we tried their “Millenium Roll” which was good also. We’ll probably go back again, but the price was about double that of Shogun‘s lunch pricing.
Went to Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar for lunch today. This is our second time going for just sushi in a month. Its great food. The Tornado Roll is my favorite. Its very reasonable for lunch prices. Last time we spent $12 for two of us. This time we tried some different sushi and spent about $20. It still was well worth it.
